A Time For Red Berries - Hawthorn at Peek Hill, Dartmoor

Autumn on the slopes of Dartmoor comes early, and the leaves of this stunted Hawthorn have all been blown away, leaving some bright red berries for the local birds to enjoy:-) I took this one on Thursday afternoon, 21 10 2010, at Peek Hill, on the Yelverton to Tavistock Road. when there were some nice lighting conditions.
