Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) at Sunset, Cromarty, Easter RossMany people regard Sycamore trees as weeds or interlopers, having only grown in the UK for the last 500 years or so. I like them, and planted with enough space they can become very fine trees indeed. This one was planted in about 1890, so is 120 years old.
