Magnificent but unidentified Pine near Royal Crescent, Bath

I snapped this fine Pine near the Royal Crescent when visiting Bath in 2006. I don't know which kind it is, unfortunately, but it was magnificently tall, had very dark, almost black needles, and deeply fissured bark.
